Welcome to Slow Blooms! The you-pick garden works on an honesty system - help yourself to flowers and pay for them by weight.

Bank transfer to 06-0483-0164754-00, or pay with cash in the honesty box, or by card inside Charlies Gelato - where you can also find our ready-made fresh and dried bouquets and gift cards.

Slow Blooms name is a play on the Slow Foods/Slow Flowers movement, which values produce grown locally, in their natural season, using sustainable practices - as opposed to flowers grown with harsh chemicals and pesticides or flown in from greenhouses in faraway countries. Keep feet on the grass, and out of the flower beds. Please pay before leaving the premises.

Garden open all year around. Gumboots recommended in winter and sunscreen in summer. In the heat of day, we recommend picking into a bucket of water and bringing the flowers home in a jar of water.
